Technician handles electronic and electrical components, airflow physics, blueprint reading, pipefitting, sheet metal work and plumbing.
HVAC Engineering and Design
For development and design of new HVAC systems, technician must posses at least a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
HVAC Control Systems
From pneumatic (air-powered) controls to direct electronics. An associate’s degree in electronics, a Cisco networking certification or years of experience in the HVAC field may be required.
